What Does Rodent Guys' 60-Day Guarantee Actually Cover?
Our 60-day guarantee is one of the most common topics customers ask about before and after service. This article explains exactly what the guarantee covers, when the 60-day period starts, what happens when you make a guarantee claim, and the honest limits of what any guarantee can cover.
What the Guarantee Covers
If new gopher activity appears anywhere on your treated property within 60 days of service completion, we return at no additional cost to retreat. This covers both scenarios that homeowners encounter after service:
Remaining original infestation activity — occasionally an animal in a deep or less-active section of a tunnel system is not captured during the initial treatment period and resumes active mounding after the job was considered complete. This is covered completely.
Reinvasion from adjacent properties — a new gopher moving in from a neighboring yard, golf course, park, or open space within the 60-day period is also covered. You do not need to prove the activity is from the original infestation versus a new animal. If you see fresh mounds within 60 days, call us and we return.
When the 60-Day Period Starts
The guarantee period begins when your service is complete — meaning when no new activity has been observed for a sufficient period following the last treatment visit and the job is closed. It does not start on the day of the first visit. For jobs that take two to four weeks to fully resolve, the 60-day guarantee period begins after the job is completed, giving you a full 60 days of coverage from the point of confirmed resolution.
How to Make a Guarantee Claim
If you see fresh gopher mounds within your 60-day guarantee period, call our office at 909-599-4711. Mention that you are within your guarantee window and describe the activity. We will schedule a return visit promptly. There is no paperwork, no hoops to jump through, and no charge for the return visit.
The Honest Limits of Any Guarantee
No pest control guarantee can eliminate the source of ongoing reinvasion pressure. If your property borders a golf course, regional park, school campus, or other large gopher reservoir, the source population will continue to push animals toward your property indefinitely. Our guarantee covers return visits during the guarantee period, but it cannot eliminate the source population that is not on your property.
For properties with persistent reinvasion pressure from adjacent sources, a monthly or quarterly maintenance agreement is the practical long-term solution — not repeated single-treatment cycles. Maintenance keeps your property continuously protected at a lower per-visit cost than repeatedly initiating new service calls.
